What is travel? Travel is going on a journey especially to a distant or unfamiliar place.
Growing up, our family was not able to travel so when I met my husband I knew travel was something I wanted to make sure he knew was a priority of mine. I strongly desired to travel and share experiences together first as a couple but then as a family. Thankfully he also enjoyed traveling and agreed with me about the benefits of making memories while traveling. It was a match and after many adventures together we decided to get married. When we discussed where we wanted to honeymoon, there was only one place on my list - Disney World!!! He was a sweetheart and agreed to indulge me - I truly think he wanted to go there as much as I did. We spent two amazing weeks in the Orlando area going to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. We also went to Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, and played lots of mini golf. I was absolutely thrilled. We both fell in love with the greater Orlando area and have chosen to vacation there every year since. Thankfully our son also enjoys the area and even at 17 still enjoys traveling with us. I am guessing that as he heads off to college we will see him going on our travels less. I guess that means back to couples trips for us. We always say our son's first trip was in August 2001 when I was 7 months pregnant with him. He went back his second time at 10 months old and has been to the area every year since. We have not been in the parks each year due to budget constraints but always took time to stop by and enjoy the free things Disney World has to offer. On those years we didn't spend our whole trip at Disney World we were usually able to enjoy Universal Orlando where we have spent 10 years as annual pass holders. Although Disney is my first love, Universal holds a special place in my heart. The Universal parks are a totally different experience than Disney World and we thoroughly enjoy it. We have visited many other places over the years. Some of these are: Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, Kentucky (cave areas), Tennessee (Nashville), and many trips to the Washington DC area. I absolutely love to travel, talk travel, counting down the days until we travel, and of course research travel. Anyone who knows me knows that I am always in the process of planning a trip whether for myself or someone else. It is a joy for me to help plan and organize travel. This is the main reason I decided to become a travel advisor. I would truly enjoy being able to help you and your family make memories together wherever that may take you. MY CERTIFICATIONS
